• HQ based in Essex, with projects across London.

The Opportunity

My client are looking for a proactive Design Coordinator / Design Manager to join them in their HQ in Essex.

As a new function within the business the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the design function and to develop and lead the division over time.

Duties to include:

• Liaising with external design houses and monitoring drawings
• Ensuring the final designs meet the clients' expectations and requirements
• Track programmes
• Client meetings
• Distributing design documents / Document Control
• Establish design schedules and deadlines and ensure projects stay on track
• Knowledge in Asite, 4projects or similar software is preferable.
• Knowledge with local authorities / permits is desirable.

This role is biased towards practical design coordination rather than technical design.

*Due to the office location it is essential you can drive to the HQ*
