Audit Manager

Audit Manager required. My client is a well-established firm of business advisers and accountants based in Central London, and they are seeking an Audit Manager to join their welcoming and friendly team.

The successful candidate will be reporting directly to a partner, and the role will have a split between audit and non-audit assignments (management accounting, accounting, corporate tax and private client work).

The audit client base is varied and includes and a wide variety of clients, including; FCA regulated clients, property investment companies, commodities traders, charities, solicitors and media clients.

Audit Manager Position Overview

• Manage a portfolio of clients and be the point of contact for any questions/queries
• Manage the audit process - from planning through to completion
• Review work prepared by the audit team
• Review corporation tax returns including capital allowances computations
• Assist with the training and developing of junior staff members
• Take care of any adhoc duties as and when they arrive

Suitable candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified, have previous audit experience within an accountancy practice environment and have 2+ years post-qualification experience.

Audit Manager Position Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Previous audit experience
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Excellent tax knowledge, in-particular corporation tax
• Up to date with current auditing and accounting issues
