Sales Manager – New Business Team
Location: Head office Dorking, Surrey – regular UK travel will form part of your role to visit the remote sales representatives.
Salary: negotiable (depending on experience) + company car/fuel allowance

Job Overview:
Our client is looking to recruit a results-driven Sales manager to lead their new business Sales team who specialise in SEO/digital marketing packages for SME’s.
You will be responsible for:
Recruiting – with the aim of growing the existing sales team
Training and mentoring the sales team
Setting clearly weekly sales targets and performance expectations
Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
Generating weekly and monthly performance incentives
Maintaining a positive and motivating team environment
Key responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management
Sales strategy & execution
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets.
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Assist in the management of key client relationships
Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of the New Business sales team, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Implement and manage company reporting to track sales performance and make informed decisions on strategy adjustments
Sales team growth
Create and execute a plan to grow the team over next 12 months and beyond.
Develop and manage recruitment and onboarding processes to support team growth.
Design, implement and manage training programs to enhance team skills and performance

* Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies and plans.

Experience:

* Proven current experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in the digital marketing or SEO industry.
* History of implementing and/or performing Business Development tactics.
* Demonstrated success in leading and scaling a sales team.
* An understanding of SEO mechanisms.
Skill:

* Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
* Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets or similar.
* Strong sales skills
