About Them: A top 50 commercial flooring contractor in the US is looking for a Commercial Project Manager. They have been around for over 20 years and are steadily growing year over year. The tenure is phenomenal, the average person has been there over 10 years and even a few people have been there over 15 years. A lot of the great tenure stems from their awesome culture. Most of the people will go to group outins, lunches and the company has multiple group outings as well. Everyone is there to better others and help grow the team and push everyone to be their best.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Flooring Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial flooring projects, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves overseeing all aspects of flooring projects, from initial client consultations to final installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee commercial flooring projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of project status and any changes.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial flooring industry.
- Strong knowledge of various flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial flooring project management.
