Job Description

I am looking for a mobile plant fitter to undertake the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of OEM branded equipment (Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu and Bell).
You will conduct inspections, local preparation, brake testing etc while ordering parts for your repair as necessary. You will also help and coach colleagues, where necessary and complete all systems/paperwork for the work you do.
You will ideally have 5+ years relevant experience (post apprenticeship) in the repair and maintenance of Heavy Construction Plant Bulldozers, Dump Trucks, Excavators, Graders, Loading Shovels etc; Knowledge and experience of Tier 4 and 5 Engines, Regen & Adblue Systems; and have Proven Technical Competence on Diesel Engines, Regen Systems, Transmissions, Drive Lines, Hydraulics & Electrical Systems.
You will hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds and/or Equivalent in Engineering, Plant Maintenance, Agricultural/HGV Mechanics.

There is the opportunity to boost the basic salary through over-time and being on call 1 in 4 weekends.
Basic Rate: Monday Friday, first 8 hours (Between £17.16 and £19.24 per hour)1.5 x Rate: Monday Friday, after 8 hours up until 12 hours; Saturday, first 4 hours2.0 x Rate: Monday Friday, after 12 hours; Saturday, after 4 hours; Sunday & Bank Holidays, all hours
Hours07:00 15:30; Monday to Friday
Holidays20 days plus statutory bank holidays
