Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Variable shifts including three 10-hour shifts and one 5-hour shift; up to 2 nights on call, may require weekend work.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor
License: Alaska licensure as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or Psychologist
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have: Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field
Job Description:
- Part of an intensive care team focusing on assessment and safety planning for individuals at high risk.
- Conduct crisis assessments and provide ongoing clinical support services.
- Aim to prevent emergency out-of-area hospitalizations.
- Utilize equipment such as EPIC in the unit/department.
- Cover up to three on-call days from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm.
- Follow up with clients seen in the ER in the clinic during the week.
- Provide services in both hospital and clinic-based settings with a total bed capacity of up to 15 and an outpatient team census of up to 50.
- Required to complete service partner orientation and department-specific training.
- Dress code: Business Casual
