Job Description
Our client, a leading contractor for sheet metal fabrications, are recruiting for an experienced CAD Programmer to join their dynamic team in Lancing. If you have a passion for precision engineering and a background in fabrications, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Create programmes for the CNC machines (laser cutting, brake press etc)
Convert technical drawings into production-ready files using SolidWorks.
Upload and optimise files for CNC machines using Radan software.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the fabrication process.
Work entirely off-line, stationed at a computer terminal, to create accurate programs for production.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and Radan software is essential.
Previous experience in engineering operations, particularly in fabrication and sheet metal.
Strong understanding of measurements, scaling, and geometrical calculations for accurate drafting.
Good knowledge of CNC programming for various machinery.
Ability to work independently in an office-based environment.
The Package:
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000pa DOE.
Monday to Friday schedule.
Holiday allowance + bank holidays.
