Financial Accountant

Page Personnel is working with a highly reputable business based in Whiteley, Fareham who is looking for a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their accountancy team on a 9 month contract starting ASAP. The role is mostly a stand alone position within a wider team. You will be required to go to the office 3 times per week.

Description

As the Part Qualified Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Producing financial statements
Being the main point of contact for audit queries
Support audit and board sign off of financial statements
Provide accounting reminders as deadlines approach
Support business transactions
Produce and submit board packs (balance sheet, P&L and analysis)
Maintain tax compliance and reportingProfile

In order to be considered for the Part Qualified Financial Accountant, you must:

Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar
Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements
Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
Understanding of controls in a financial reporting contextJob Offer
