Are you an experienced Claims Executive?

Are you looking for your next career move within Insurance in the London area?

If so, our International Insurance client is keen to hear from you!

The salary available for the role depending on experience will be £50,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and benefits. For the upper end of the salary, we will be looking at someone with 3-4 + years' experience of complex commercial claims.

We are looking for someone with experience of dealing with complex cases, if you have any International Property experience or a broker background it will be highly beneficial.

Working on a hybrid-basis with 2 or 3 days in the London office (your choice) per week,
you will be working within a specialist division within the business, dealing with claims from start to finish. Operating as a key liaison between the client and the insurer, ensuring that claims are coordinated in line with the encouraged standards, regulatory requirements and that an excellent service level is maintained.

The position will involve being assigned interesting and sophisticated claims that will involve plenty of direct client contact and variety.

More Detail:

Build comprehensive claims documents and take care of client claims and settlements.
Present claims to underwriters, dealing with queries, providing feedback and responding appropriately to clients, insurers and relevant internal departments.
Review and prepare correspondence regarding notifications and claims to ensure that products and cover best meet the client's risk requirements, business objectives and compliance requirements.
Keep clients and insurers advised of developments relating to notifications and claims, liaising with third parties as vital.
Investigate and resolve queries from clients etc, following these through to resolution and keeping all parties advised throughout the process.
Develop positive relationships and negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome for the client.
Maintain any ongoing delegated authority contracts appropriately and cost optimally.The Person:

Significant previous Claims based experience - liability, personal accident or property experience would be highly advantageous however an alternative liability background will be considered.
Good understanding of the principles of insurance.
Solid understanding relating to claims-handling process.
Understanding of broking and underwriting process.
Highly organised, with good planning skills.
Able to work flexibly to achieve tight deadlines/targets.
