Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging science lessons to students, fostering a love for the subject.
  • Plan and prepare lessons, resources, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, addressing any individual learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science at the primary/secondary level.
  • Passion for inspiring and engaging students in the subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a team.
