Job Description
Special Purpose Machinery Design. There’s something special about designing a machine from the floor upwards, taking a customer’s manufacturing problem and solving it, seeing that machine working at the end stacking, packing, conveying, testing, assembling. Being able to stand back and say “I designed that.”
One of the Companies that I work with who design a big variety of machines to solve problems for a big variety of customers are expanding, so they’re creating new openings for Engineers in the East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire.
I'm searching for an experienced Machinery Design Engineer to do hands-on design, and use that experience to take the lead on unique factory automation projects. Solidworks or 3D CAD machinery design, sizing selecting of parts for machinery, bills of materials, production drawings.
