Pay rate: $31/hour
Electrician Responsibilities:
* Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and building equipment.
* Connect power supply wires to machines and between equipment.
* Diagnose and repair issues with transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures.
* Maintain electrical service for data centers and all building electrical distribution systems.
* Replace faulty electrical and electronic components, such as relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards, and lighting systems (task, parking lot, emergency, and exit lights).
* Work with lighting contactors, outlets, and photoelectric eyes controlled by an energy management system.
Qualifications:
* Completion of an apprenticeship program with at least ten years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience. Journeyman status required.
* Proficiency with tools like voltmeters, amp meters, ohm meters, Meggars, and amp probes.
* Experience working with variable frequency drives and interpreting electrical data.
* A minimum of three years of related experience.
* Valid driver's license.
* Strong mathematical skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and practical application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
