Position Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in the management of construction projects, particularly in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and communications between stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Assist in the review of RFPs, bids, and contracts.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
- Provide support in the management and coordination of project change orders, submittals, and RFIs.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or construction management, with a focus on healthcare construction.
- Knowledge of RFP and bid processes, as well as experience in contract administration.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management software.
- Familiarity with OSHPD regulations and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
