Job Title: Senior Public Affairs Manager

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance + bonus

This is an exciting role to make a real impact, responsible for planning and executing the Institutional Affairs programme to build awareness amongst stakeholders of the business' approach to doing business and strengthen reputation with relevant stakeholders, Government, NGOs, etc.

The role:

• Full responsibility to support the implementation of the Institutional Affairs Programme in the UK & Ireland.
• Manage all activities to maintain and enhance strategy-focused, result-orientated Government relations at a regional and local level.
• Interaction and negotiation with the Government on specific issues/topics and Government policy/regulations advocacy.
• Provide expert guidance on public policies relating to two or more of the following: Health & Nutrition, Responsible Marketing, Sustainability, Access to Markets & Trade.

Your profile:

• Expertise on public policies relating to Health & Nutrition in the food industry.
• Experience in a similar role in in-house/government/trade/agency.
• Previous time spent working with MPs & Politicians.
• Knowledgeable and credible, able to command trust and respect from peers.
• Able to work without bias, putting the interests of the business as first priority.
