Role Purpose

We are recruiting a versatile and experienced Sales Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial rolewithin the sales team. Responsibilities will focus on new enquiries from both existing and prospective customers, with the aim of identifying opportunities and growing the sales pipeline. The importance of building and maintaining strong customer relationships whilst identifying and quantifying new business opportunities in these areas is integral to the growth of the company. Relaying this information to the sales team and priority activity will be key.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers worldwide, spanning multiple industry sectors. The Sales Development Manager will be at the forefront of our domestic and international outreach and their efforts will be instrumental in establishing new relationships that drive our global business growth.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective communication network to inform and grow longstanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel as and when required
  • Experience in navigating the requirements of complex customers would be beneficial, along with persistence and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in dealing with medical sector, specialist vehicles, machinery, industrial automation or off-highway would be beneficial.
  • The ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen when deciding how to prioritise leads and allocation of resources.
