Production Manager

I am working in partnership with an established Bakery Manufacturer in Leicestershire which are looking to recruit a Production Manager. The ideal candidate has experience in a management position within Food and a keen interest in Lean Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Production: Manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Operational Efficiency: Drive process improvements to optimize production output, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Quality Control: Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and conducting regular risk assessments.
• Production Planning: Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Budget Management: Manage production budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high levels of productivity.

On offer

• £50,000 + 10% bonus (slight flexibility for an exceptional candidate)
• 25 days AL plus banks.
• Mon - Fri - 40 hours p/w
