Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor

Cobalt Recruitment is excited to be working with an excellent Property and Construction consultancy in London to recruit a permanent Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor, offering £75,000-£85,000 per annum plus package (including performance-related bonus) depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be working on a number of projects across public and private sectors on a mixture of new build, refurbishment, tall building remediation, and maintenance schemes. You will be working on multiple projects across London, Home Counties, and the Southeast, visiting sites and reporting, as well as representing the organisation to clients and contractors. The Safety Compliance team is thriving, with an ever-growing client base with great opportunities for training and development potential.

This opportunity will suit an enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate strong leadership qualities with a 'can do' attitude.

You will have/be:

• (Ideally) an incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPs).
• 10 years' experience in the construction industry with experience of CDM/Health and Safety issues in construction.
• Excellent working knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 and appropriate legislation.
• Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering the Principal Designer and CDM Advisor roles in the residential refurbishment, development, and commercial sector.
• Hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• A willingness to travel to varied sites across London, Home Counties, and the Southeast.
• Excellent communicator with interpersonal and organisational skills.
