Location: Flixton, Greater Manchester

Employment Type: Part-time - 15 hours per week

Salary: Band 4 Points 12-17, £26,421- £28,770 pro rata. Actual salary £10,933- £11,905

Start Date: Immediate.

MLK Education Search are seeking a Site Manager to join our outstanding Special School community. We seek a candidate who is hardworking, honest, dependable, and self-motivated to uphold the school’s ethos, aims, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, secure, and manage the school premises and site
• Act as a key holder and respond to call-outs
• Collaborate flexibly with existing site staff and the wider team
• Ensure the school, grounds, and equipment are maintained to a high standard
• Manage the opening and closing of the school
• Perform minor maintenance duties and repairs
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities
• Oversee security and health & safety, including regular inspections and audits
• Adapt to the needs of the children and the school
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils, and other agencies, both orally and in writing
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold child protection/safeguarding standards
• Identify and pursue relevant training and development opportunities
• Demonstrate sound administrative skills
• Coordinate a variety of resources
