As Linaker continues to experience exponential growth, we are searching for an exceptional Business Development Director to join our journey towards further success in 2024 and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position involves leading Linaker’s business development initiatives, driving growth and building strategic partnerships to further enhance our industry presence and to deliver opportunities to the business within its pipeline.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Develop and implement successful business development strategies to expand Linaker’s market reach

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market to foster company growth

Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and industry leaders

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success

Lead negotiations and close deals that align with Linaker’s strategic goals

Analyse market trends to identify new opportunities and optimise business strategies

Represent Linaker at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and network with potential clients

Lead senior level development workshops and solution development

The overall management and direct report from both the Head of Bids and Head of Pricing.

You will be reporting to the Commercial Director.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience as a Business Development Director, ideally within the FM/M&E space.

Existing and demonstratable portfolio of key contacts within industry, mainly the city of London.

Strong understanding of the business environment within facilities management or related industry.

Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain last professional partnerships

Experience of managing a team and commercially experienced in corporate governance.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive negotiation ability

Experience in leading the process of pulling together effective, successful bids & tenders

Knowledge and experience of ESG/net-zero preferred.

Willingness to travel as & when required
THE PACKAGE

Starting salary of between £80,000 & £90,000, dependent upon relevant experience, plus company car and bonus

25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
