Contracts Manager (Safety Defects)
Our client, a prominent entity in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to manage road safety defect projects in Surrey and London. We're seeking individuals with direct safety defect experience across road maintenance projects in the UK, and individuals with a strong commercial background.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing contracts related to road safety engineering projects
Ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules
Monitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions as needed
Utilising InRoads software for design and project implementation
Providing regular progress reports to senior management
Addressing any contract-related issues promptly and efficiently
Job Requirements:
Experience in contract management within the engineering sector
Understanding of road safety principles and practices
Proficiency in using InRoads software
Roads Maintenance experience
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Relevant engineering or project management qualification is preferred
