Job Description
Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Key Stage 1
Location: Wednesfield
We are working with a local school who are on the lookout for a confident HLTA to support and deliver lessons across Keystage 1. The role is an ASAP start on a long-term, full-time basis. Suitable for any ECT's wanting to gain more experience.
The Role:
Lead and deliver targeted interventions and support to Key Stage 1 students under the guidance of the class teacher.
Assist in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of individuals and small groups.
Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and other key skills through structured activities and resources.
Supervise students during independent and group activities, providing guidance and encouragement as needed.
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:
Experience working as a HLTA in a Key Stage 1 setting.
A relevant HLTA qualification.
Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
24 months of references with at least 1 from working with children in schools in the UK.
Valid right to work in the UK documentation
A valid DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one.
