About the Project:

You will need to provide the engineering expertise required to conceptualize, design, and manufacture hardware products. You will participate in the development, industrialization, and sustaining of new or improved products designated for harsh environments (ATEX, IECEx).

You will be involved not only in the design but also in the testing of prototypes and industrialized products.

You will have an opportunity to work with a wide range of products which may include various sensors, automated electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, rocks and gas analytical tools, and software. Therefore, having a solid background in engineering science (engineering, mechanics, physics, mathematics, chemistry) will be a key to your smooth integration into ongoing projects.

Working in a small team, you will report to the Instrumentation Project Manager and collaborate with an array of different engineers. You will need to stay in touch with suppliers and manufacturers and often interact with an international network of SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics
• 5+ years of related experience
• SolidWorks Proficiency, including PDM
• Training and experience in multi-disciplinary engineering and product industrialization
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and general engineering analysis
• Good organization skills with the ability of tasks planning
• Creative and proactive team player
• Capable of working autonomously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
• ISO GPS dimensioning and stack-up analysis
• Experience in prototyping, laboratory test-bench construction, and conducting testing campaigns
• Working knowledge of: Additives manufacturing: Machining techniques
