ER Observation - D/E/N ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULES, Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
Job Duties:
The ER RN cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if the patient's condition is serious enough for admission to the hospital or if the patient can be treated and released home safely. This G16 Unit sees 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. The unit has 24/7 provider coverage. Care for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions.
***1st time travelers accepted on this unit***
2 yrs of Med/Surg and ER exp required, Tele exp. ACLS preferred but not required
