What You Will Do: As an Senior Digital Construction Specialist you will

* Collaborate with WSB Project Managers and outside engineering firms to create, publish and manage iModels in Synchro Control.
* Understand and manage data within ProjectWise Design Integration. This will include multiple file types, multiple authoring tools (both Bentley and non-Bentley) and data from other sources.
* Quickly understand what data is available for a given project, collect it in an organized way, and publish it to an iModel to be used as a design and construction management tool.
* Develop strategies for design and construction management in a model-centric environment using various engineering authoring tools, common data environments, SYNCHRO 4D, Field and Control. The ability to understand those who build the work and their needs is critical for success in this role.
* Be able to work closely with a team of engineers and engineering technicians to create best practices and workflows.
* The ability to learn and adapt to new situations in a prompt manner.
* Have a forward-thinking mindset. Being able to work today while thinking about the future will allow for success in this position.
* Heavy emphasis on communication skills to be used in training, troubleshooting, and developing custom workflows and solutions for our clients - both internal and external.
* Deliverables focus, not tools focus. Success in this role requires an understanding of real-world construction problems and how they can be solved with the best 3D tools available.
* Coordinate with software vendors and project stake holders to define and implement new workflows.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have an

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, Architecture or similar degree from an accredited school, and 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering or related field.
* You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of engineering software packages, specifically Bentley OpenRoads, SYNCHRO, ProjectWise, OpenBridge Modeler, Civil 3D, and SYNCHRO 4D Pro.
* Additional experience with ProjectWise, iTwin, ArcGIS, & Autodesk Products is a plus, but not required.
* Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position.
