Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Estimator:
* Assist in preparing accurate mechanical estimates for fire protection projects.
* Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to gather necessary specifications, drawings, and materials for bids.
* Conduct cost analysis, evaluate supplier quotes, and compile competitive pricing proposals.
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
* Maintain and update the estimation database with current pricing and industry standards.
Requirements of the Mechanical Estimator:
* Degree or relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus.
