Job Description
We are currently working on behalf of one of the UK’S leading multi-disciplined business service providers for a role of Retail Electrical Estimator. The business at present works with the electrical, mechanical, data and IT and services as well as maintenance solutions. Over the past few years, the company has experienced a large growth which has left them with a central role in the UK building services market.
Job Description: As the role of retail electrical estimator, you will be supporting the retail department by overseeing and conducting all aspects of estimating within the department. You will be responsible for calculating the cost of the project before the work commences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather proposals, plans, specifications, and any other related documents.
* Compile costs by identifying and analysing labour, materials, and time requirements.
* Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.
* Prepare special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends.
* Attending educational workshops.
Skills Required:
* Excellent numeracy skills.
* A good knowledge of food retailer client’s requirements.
* Good spoken and written communication skills.
* An understanding of databases, spreadsheets, word processing and excel.
* Organisation and good attention to detail.
* Respect the importance of employee confidentiality, you will be dealing with employee details.
