Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
This is a 12-month contract offering hybrid working flexibility and is outside IR35
Responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyor
In this role, you will:
Assist with the preparation and management of project budgets, estimates, and cost plans.
Support the review and negotiation of contracts, including subcontractor agreements.
Measure and value work on-site, ensuring that project financial targets are met.
Assist in the preparation of payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
Work closely with senior commercial staff and project managers to provide accurate financial forecasts.
Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor
The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (e.g., HND, BSc).
Previous experience working on infrastructure or civil engineering projects, ideally within the highways sector.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC.
