Technical Specialist – LCMS/GCMS QQQ

Our client is looking for a Technical Specialist to support the Organic Laboratory Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop and validate new methods in accordance with quality procedures
Completion of validation statement/PDS to collate, input and check all data
Perform non routine testing supporting clients with their requirements.
Provide technical training for staff involved with method development and implementation, both during the validation and when the method passes into routine production.
Organise, evaluate, install and validate new instruments
Review and write analytical methods and aid continuous improvement
Organise and perform non-routine analytical work, solve technical problems, and manage method validation with the appropriate section heads/managers.
Provide technical support to internal staff, external clients, and staff at other sites
Be conversant with the company Quality procedures.
Investigate atypical results and quality system failures raised by clients or internal/external audits
Requirements:
Hold a BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline.
Working knowledge and experience of complex laboratory equipment and processes, LCQQQ. GCQQQ, GCMS, GCGC analysis and extraction
Proven experience of working in a laboratory is essential - preferably within the Environmental industry.
Experience of method development and instrument implementation is also essential
