Senior Credit Hire Claims Handler. UK HYBRID WORKING. Full time, Mon - Fri 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility, bonus scheme (7.5% of basic salary based on business and personal performance) and many more fantastic benefits!

Join our business now as a Credit Hire Senior Claims Handler where you can find and develop your own purpose, helping us to make sure that when life happens, we’re first there to help get people moving again.
You’ll be an experienced Credit Hire Handler, with an in-depth knowledge of handling the more complex, higher value and litigated Credit Hire claims. You'll also be an experienced Coach to enable you to support and mentor your colleagues in all aspects of claims handling.

Responsibilities:
* Provide a high level of service to customers throughout the claims journey.
* Proactively manage all aspects of technical credit hire and third-party vehicle damage claims, presented by a third party and their representatives, to mitigate claims costs.
* Make all necessary investigations and decisions on indemnity and liability, whilst always considering the potential for fraud.
* Negotiate with claimant representatives to progress and settle credit hire claims, quickly and effectively, within your agreed authority level, based on relevant case law or GTA guidelines.
* Instruct and liaise with approved suppliers and company solicitors in the event of credit hire litigation.
* Maintain own caseload to a high standard. Ensure files are accurately reserved, in line with the company reserving philosophy.
* Raise vehicle damage and settlement payments promptly and accurately.
* Validate and approve handler’s payments.
* Provide training, coaching and feedback to develop handlers’ technical capability.
* Undertake quality audits on claim files and provide feedback to handlers.
* Handle complaints in line with FSA and company requirements and guidelines.
* Support development and delivery of the claim’s strategy and vision.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
* Sound knowledge and experience of Third-Party Motor Claims handling, including liability and litigation.
* Good knowledge and experience of credit hire case law and its application to claims settlements.
* Knowledge and experience of the ABI GTA guidelines.
* Strong negotiations and persuasion skills.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines.
* Good level of verbal and numerical skills and be able to problem solve.
* Be able to work as part of a team.
* Ability to stay up to date with market changes and developments.
* Leadership and coaching experience.
