Job Description
We are one of the UK's leading Holiday Home Manufacturers, providing quality holiday homes to the leisure sector for over 40 years.
Our aim is simple. To provide our customers with a comfortable and luxurious holiday home experience, whatever their budget.
We are currently looking for a Senior Buyer to join our busy Operations team.
As our Buyer you will be responsible for the planning and procurement of materials ensuring goods are delivered on time, at the right quality and purchased at the most competitive rates.
Required Experience
* Two/three years' experience in a similar role. Experience within the caravan manufacturing sector would be highly advantageous.
* Ability to manage costs and identify opportunities for improvement
* Strong numeric and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure within a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* Able to place orders and do the transactional side of the role but also have the experience to operate strategically when required
* In conjunction with the materials controller, progress the delivery of supplies in order to meet production requirements
* Strong negotiation skills
