Senior Site Manager
Location: NW
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
About the Project:
We are seeking aSenior Site Manager to take the lead on a prestigious, high-profile project in the NW. The development consists of the restoration of a Grade 2 listed building as well as the construction of multiple new-build residential blocks.
The Role:
As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of this complex project, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse landmark development with a focus on restoration and new-build construction. You will lead a team, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and ensure all construction activities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on-site activities, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
* Oversee the restoration of a Grade 2 listed building and construction of the new residential blocks.
* Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.
* Deliver the project on time and within the agreed budget.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior site staff and maintain strong communication with the client and design team.
* Ensure that sustainability and eco-conscious principles are integrated into every aspect of the build.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a proven background as a Senior Site Manager, ideally with experience working on large-scale projects for well-known contractors.
Requirements:
* A few years of experience as a Senior Site Manager on complex, large-scale construction projects.
* Full understanding of the construction process from groundwork to final fit-out.
* Proven track record of managing multi-million-pound projects, including restoration of listed buildings and/or new-build construction.
* Leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in managing site safety.
