Contracts Manager

Mac recruit Group require a Contracts Manager for our client, a UK leading customer focused manufacturer offering turnkey steel solutions. This role is based in their office just outside of Glasgow with regular throughout the UK.

Contracts Manager duties & responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and manage contracts from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project specifications.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and close-out. Ensure that projects are delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication on project scope, contract terms, timelines, and any variations that arise.
• Identify potential risks in contracts and projects, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure that any changes or disputes are resolved swiftly and effectively.
• Ensure all contracts, variations, and amendments are properly documented and filed. Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects of the contract are closely tracked, including pricing, cost control, and invoicing.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all parties are clear on contract terms and project expectations. Ensure that subcontractor agreements align with project requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate between internal teams (engineering, production, and installation) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution.
• Track and report on contract performance, KPIs, and project status to senior management, highlighting any issues that need resolution.

Contracts Manager requirements:

Experience in contracts management, ideally within the steel fabrication, construction, or manufacturing sectors.

Experience in projects from conception to completion

Degree in related field

Ability to manage large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

Flexibility to travel

Full UK driving licence

Contracts Manager salary benefits:
