Gas Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, breakdown, and installation of gas systems. Although plumbing and commercial experience is an advantage, it is not a requirement for the role. Training and support will be provided to help the candidate develop these skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service and Maintenance: Perform routine servicing of gas appliances such as boilers, cookers, and heaters in domestic and light commercial settings.

* Breakdown Response: Diagnose and repair faults on gas appliances and systems, ensuring swift and efficient responses to breakdown calls.

* Installations: Carry out the installation of gas appliances and central heating systems.

* Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support, ensuring customers are fully informed of the work being done.

* Documentation: Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, certificates, and reports as required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

* Essential:

* Gas Safe Registered.

* Experience in domestic gas servicing, breakdowns, and installations.

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

* Full, clean driving license.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Desirable (but not essential):

* Experience in commercial gas systems.

* Plumbing experience and qualifications.
