Mechanical Field Service Technician - Wasewater, Water Treatment

Relevant experience with engineering environment (preferred but not essential)

Experience in on-site engineering environment is essential

Previous experience in the water industry (preferred not essential)

• Competitive Hourly Rate - £16-£22 an hour (DOE) - Circa £48k-£54k per annum

5x Mechanical Field Service Technician - Wasewater, Water TreatmenKey Responsibilities:

• Monitor and advise management of progress and highlight areas outside of scope of delivery.
• Test mechanical systems, equipment, apparatus using testing devices such as vibration sensors and infra-red cameras, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
• Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair.
• Complete works as directed by site supervisors and project managers.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools, test equipment and power tools.
• Be able to conduct mechanical tasks such as pump replacement, screens and pipework installation, alignments, valve problem solving, installation, fault finding, and read drawings.
