Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description
Job Description: As a Sheet Metal Laser Cutting, Water Jet Cutting, & Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining advanced cutting and fabrication equipment to produce high-precision metal components. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain laser cutting machines, water jet cutting machines, and other fabrication equipment.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to produce accurate metal parts.
* Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
* Set up and calibrate machinery for various jobs and materials.
* Collaborate with engineers and project managers to achieve desired outcomes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues to minimize downtime.
* Ensure all health and safety standards are followed in the workshop.
* Assist with other fabrication tasks as needed, such as bending, welding, and assembly.
* Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in sheet metal laser cutting, water jet cutting, and general fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency with CNC and CAD/CAM software is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
* Knowledge of materials such as steel, aluminum, and other metals.
* Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace
