Opus Vitae is pleased to be recruiting for a prestigious client, a market leader in their industry, who are looking to bring in a Senior Design Engineer.

What you could be doing...
* Taking ownership for design, development and introduction of strategic projects
* Designing products to meet regulatory standards and performance levels specified
* Using 3D CAD (SolidWorks) to create models, technical drawings and specifications
* Providing technical input and advice to the wider product development team on design matters and arising issues
* Continuously evaluating and improving designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturing improvements, increased quality and value.
What you have been doing...
* Working as a Design Engineer in the consumer goods appliance industry
* You've got a BTEC/HNC in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering (or equivalent)
* You're a whizz with 3D CAD and you've got experience of Sustainable Design
* Designing products with plastic materials
