KS1 ASD Teaching Assistant (Phonics Specialist) | Westminster, W9 | £90-£105 | Long-Term to Permanent | September 2024

About the Role:
LTF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in phonics to join our Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" partner primary school in Westminster. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and is skilled in delivering targeted phonics interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to KS1 students with ASD, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Lead small-group and one-to-one phonics interventions, ensuring that each child receives the necessary support to develop their reading and phonics skills.
Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO, and other support staff to create and implement educational health and care plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.Requirements:

Experience working with children with ASD in a primary school setting.
Strong knowledge and experience in teaching phonics, ideally with training in a specific phonics program.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
