Having supplied key construction projects both in the UK and Internationally with their expert cable solutions, it is a brilliant time to join as the company continues their ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing quote follow-ups, preparing precise and competitive quotes using Bluebeam, designing electrical systems, and utilising their electrical expertise to deliver complete solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
* Follow up on prepared quotes to ensure timely client responses and engagement.
* Track and manage the status of quotes, addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
* Use Bluebeam software to prepare detailed and accurate quotes.
* Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to estimate time, cost, materials, and labour.
* Design electrical systems according to client requirements and industry standards.
* Provide technical support and consultation to offer efficient, cost-effective solutions.
* Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and excellent service.
* Assist clients in understanding the scope of work, pricing, and project timelines.
* Coordinate with the sales team to meet client needs and ensure seamless project handoff.
* Work with the engineering team to confirm design feasibility and compliance with technical standards.
Key Attributes
* Background in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in sales estimating, ideally within the electrical industry.
* Skilled in using Bluebeam/Countfire software for quote preparation and design.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction techniques.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in estimate preparation.
* Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
