Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team in Finchley, starting ASAP. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work three days a week and is a replacement for a valued team member. The interview process will include a face-to-face interview and an observation, with early applications encouraged to ensure a swift recruitment process. In this role, you will teach a diverse class that includes a mix of abilities, including students with SEN needs and those with EHCPs. You’ll benefit from strong administrative support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional lessons that foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and excellence. Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching KS2 is preferred.

• Strong subject knowledge in English and Mathematics is required, with experience in delivering the KS2 curriculum.

• Previous experience working with SEN students and familiarity with EHCPs will be beneficial.

• Excellent classroom management and social-emotional skills to foster a supportive learning environment.

• Professional references that demonstrate a commitment to respect, inclusion, and collaboration within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and implement creative and effective lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all students are actively engaged and motivated to learn.

• Support Diverse Learning Needs: Differentiate instruction to meet the varying abilities of students, including those with SEN needs, and provide additional support as necessary.

• Assess Student Progress: Regularly assess and monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback and tailored interventions to support individual learning goals.

• Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a nurturing atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and emotional well-being, encouraging students to develop their social and emotional skills.

• Engage with Parents and the Community: Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication, involvement in school events, and participation in parent-teacher meetings to enhance student support and engagement.
