Please find more information here: BC Loan Forgiveness Program As a Speech Language Pathologist with VCH you will: Be responsible for the delivery of speech and language services for preschool-aged clients in the community, including the delivery of intake, consultation, assessment, therapy and education services using standard and advanced procedures. Be responsible for the administration and management of the local Speech-Language Pathology Program. ABOUT SECHELT, BC The District Municipality of Sechelt is located on the lower Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, approximately 50 km northwest of Vancouver. It is accessible from the mainland by a 40-minute ferry trip between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale, followed by a 25-minute drive along Highway 101, also known as the Sunshine Coast Highway. That is what Sechelt has to offer you Qualifications Education & Experience Current full registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia plus a minimum of two years related experience. Valid BC Drivers’ License and use of a personal vehicle. Knowledge & Abilities Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work well as a member of a team. Ability to work independently, establish priorities and organize workload. Ability to organize and conduct workshops and seminars on speech-language development/communication disorders. Physical ability to perform duties of the position. Ability to operate related equipment.
