If you're ready to take ownership of innovative solar and battery storage designs, apply today Key Responsibilities: · Solar Design & Analysis · Design of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) plants on buildings · Conduct yield and shading analysis to optimize plant performance · Create solar plant layouts and single-line diagrams (SLDs) · Perform tariff analysis and assess client needs for customized solutions · Micro-grid & Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design · Design and size battery energy storage systems · Conduct simulations and perform optimization for efficient energy storage systems · Analyze and design micro-grid solutions · Estimate and Bid Compilation · Prepare technical and commercial bids for solar PV and battery storage projects · Develop financial feasibility calculations and optimize design approaches · Compile costings, design descriptions, and plant specifications for tenders Experience & Core Competencies: · Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Solar PV & BESS design · Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills · Proficiency with simulation tools like PVSyst, Prospect, Homer · Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) · Thorough understanding of Solar PV & Battery Storage Systems operation, sizing, and design · Excellent interpersonal skills and client engagement abilities Apply Now Submit your CV to engineering.jobsmspstaffing.co.za or call XXX-XXXX.
