Job Description

Required Skills and Qualifications : Essential Skills : Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts. Ability to perform end-to-end process analysis. Experience with requirement review and static analysis. Capability to assess the feasibility of test scripts. Technical expertise in creating test cases. Proficiency in front-end testing using the Cypress framework. Familiarity with Apache Kafka. Hands-on experience with Kibana and Grafana for monitoring and analytics. Working knowledge of Quarkus. Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as outlined in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter. Advantageous Skills : Practical knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with tools like Confluence and Jira. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or degree in a relevant business or IT field. Professional experience in an IT or business environment. Role and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Team Lead, Stakeholders, IT Product Owner, and the team on testing matters. Execute tests, capture defects, and manage issue communication. Maintain automation test packs and ensure daily execution/reporting on automated regression tests. Assist developers with unit testing automation (REST layer). Define and implement test plans for projects. Create and communicate detailed test reports during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Estimate effort and plan for test case execution. Organize and support the creation of test cases and coordinate test data preparation with developers and test analysts. Ensure appropriate access levels to the test environment for testers. Track new and modified requirements to ensure coverage during testing. Manually execute test cases and retest defects when needed. Escalate deviations in testing plans to the Project Lead or DevOps Lead. Serve as the primary contact between developers and testers. Create and track a "lessons learned" document related to test activities. Ensure entry and exit criteria for all test phases are met within the allocated project timelines.
