With an elite team of plastic surgeons across the U.S. and a family of over 80,000 satisfied patients, we're on a mission to make beauty accessible to all.Mia Aesthetics provides on-the-job training, professional development opportunities, opportunities for advancement, benefit offerings, and more.Be a part of a team transforming lives and supporting dreams every day!RequirementsRN Duties & Responsibilities:Participates in primary care of patients as needed and makes rounds as indicated to verify the patient needs are metProvides nursing care to meet patient needs related to surgical conditionMonitors patients and informs surgeons or anesthesiologist immediately of observed complicationsAssists in coordinating patient care activities with medical staff and healthcare team members to provide for continuity of patient careDocuments that information received from the patient is disseminated to the appropriate people or areasDocuments and carries out Pre/Post-Operative orders given by Surgeon, as well as documents all information for post anesthesia care of patientAssists nursing staff in identifying and solving nursing care problemsCollaborates medical staff and healthcare team members in developing coordinated outcomes and interventions regarding patient progress and careAssists with nursing activities during emergenciesEducates and provides instruction to patient and family members on post-operative careEffectively organizes time, equipment, supplies and personnel for management patient careMaintains order and cleanliness of postoperative areasAssists in inventory of supplies, drugs and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in postoperative areasFollows established HIPPA policies and procedures at all timesAssumes accountability and responsibility for attendance and timely completion of mandatory training programs, unit specific requirements (i.e. CEUs/ACLS/BLS) and unit meetings.Education and Experience:Associates degree or bachelor's requiredGraduation from Accredited School of NursingHolds and maintains an active Registered Nurse License and educational requirementsHold and maintains an active Multistate Registered Nurse License or will obtain one if hiredHolds and maintains an active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationMinimum 1 year of PACU experience requiredBilingual in English and Spanish preferredJoin us: https://miaaesthetics.com/careers/#miajobs #mia_talent
