Job Description

This is a 6+ month contract developer who has good communication and can do some gathering of requirements, very senior in SQL, has some .NET/C# skills, and ideally has some Kronos/UKG/dimensions experience (as this is a project in their payroll/HRIS/workforce development application group).

They need someone use SQL to extract data from a database, read/write Business logic that processes this data, transforming it into a required format (e.g., a CSV file), and once the data is processed and formatted, it can be saved as a file.

FTP is then used to transfer this file to another server or location for further use or storage.

For example, a common scenario might involve using SQL to query a database for sales data, applying business logic to format this data into a report, and then using FTP to upload the report to a remote server for access by other departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ideally also have:

5+ years in backend .NET framework development (MS environment and OOP fundamentals)

5+ years of C# language experience (method overloading/LINQ/factory pattern)
