Job Description

Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team in the role of RN Unit Manager in our 105 bed skilledrehab center. Day, Evening and Night shifts available and Weekends. As the RN Unit Manager, you'll play a vital role in our ability to continuously provide Care Beyond Compare through your exceptional leadership and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience. What we offer Competitive pay starting at $83,200/yr. Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed. Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support. Assist in training and orientation of new employees. Handle any emergencies or issues that arise during shifts, following established protocols. Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident. What you need Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia. Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care. Nursing Management experience preferred. BSN preferred, Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
