A brilliant Secondary School based in the Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking an Academic Mentor for SEN - a perfect role for any graduates looking to gain teaching experience before pursuing a career in educational psychology, mental health, social work and more!
The Academic Mentor for SEN role involves providing support for young people with SEN/SEMH needs. This includes ASD, ADHD, dyslexia and more, assisting students in small groups and 1:1. You will also be responsible for helping out in the classroom with Maths, English, Science and more and providing feedback to class teachers.

Monday - Friday only
Term-Time only
Long-Term, Full-Time role
Based in Waltham Forest

A graduate with strong academics, e.g. 1st Class degree or 2:1
A passionate individual that is dedicated to supporting children
