Job Description
My client is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Electrician to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems, a strong background in maintenance practices working on Carbon and stainless steel manufacturing lines and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including motors, generators, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
* Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
* Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
* Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
* Identify opportunities for improving electrical systems and processes.
* Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical maintenance.
Experience:
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong emphasis on industrial settings.
* Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including low and high voltage equipment.
