Assembly Technician
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgshire
Job Type: 9 months contract
Salary: DOEWe are on the lookout for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technician to join our Operations team. Focuses on electromechanical assembly, SOP writing, and maintaining a well-organised workplace.
Day to Day of the role:
Upgrade and assemble systems to the latest version, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during the assembly and upgrading process.
Write, update, and maintain essential process documentation
Liaise with other departments to measure, record, correct, and prevent technical issues.
Maintain detailed records of all assembly, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Continuously seek ways to improve assembly processes and contribute to product development initiatives.
Implement and maintain 5S methodology in the workspace to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient working environment.
Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Operations group as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum A-level education within an Engineering discipline.
At least 3 years' experience in electromechanical assembly, test, or repair environment.
Experience in developing assembly processes and enhancing documentation
Familiarity with ISO9001, GLP/GMP is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Structured and methodical approach to tasks, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamIf interested don't hesitate to apply bellow
