ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER – DRYLINING SUB-CONTRACTOR

LOCATION: ESSEX/LONDON

The Details:

ROLE: Assistant Site Manager

LOCATION: Office Basildon – Essex/Sites London

SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 + Package

BUSINESS TYPE: Sub-Contractor – Drylining, SFS Systems, Metal Pad/Grid Ceilings

PROJECTS: Residential, Education, Commercial

About Our Client:

They were established over a decade ago and have found themselves to sub-contractor of choice for many recognised industry names. The company deliver drylining, rendering, load bearing and infill SFS Systems and metal pan/grid ceiling services. The company has built itself off relationships and delivering on time, on budget for satisfied clients. The company are growing, have a strong and stable leadership team who will afford you the chance to develop. With a busy order booked stacked out, this business is looking to add to the head count to manage the upcoming load.

The Role:

An Assistant Site Manager is required to join the Operations team to assist with current and future projects. This is the perfect role for someone who has 1 or 2 years’ experience working for a Drylining sub-contractor and looking for a change or someone who has interiors management experience and seen similar packages delivered regularly. You will be reporting into the Contracts Manager on smaller jobs or a Site Manager on larger projects, these could be based in London & the South East. You will be maintaining the highest levels of health and safety whilst organising day to day activities and reporting back to the line manager. You will need to be located in an area you are willing to travel to the Essex office and London daily as your working location will regularly change.

The Applicant:

The ideal candidate must have:

* Relevant certification such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid

* A full UK driving license and have your own vehicle. (Company vehicle is available after probation period)

* The ability to work flexible hours to suit projects.

* Experience managing the delivery of Drylining and SFS System packages.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Further related education such as a Construction Management degree
