Engineering Team Leader/Planner
A global leader in specialty materials, is seeking an Engineering Team Leader/Planner to join their team based at their manufacturing plant in Bolton, Lancashire. You will lead a 3-person engineering team, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal downtime. This hands-on role involves planning, resource management, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and plan daily engineering tasks to meet production KPIs.
Manage maintenance programs using CMMS (Maintain X).
Conduct root cause analysis and implement breakdown elimination strategies.
Track maintenance performance and manage spend, spare parts, and service contracts.
Oversee contractor management, safety (LOTO), and 5S standards.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner, ideally with CMMS software.
Multi-skilled: 70% mechanical / 30% electrical (Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 4).
Strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.Desirable:
Experience in Paper, Printing, Hot Air Systems, Boilers/Combustion.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques.What's on Offer:
